Outdoor swimming has grown hugely over the last year in particular, because of closed pools, and Speedo wanted to celebrate these growing communities of everyday swimmers.
We created a brand new swim club, gave it a name and logo, a manifesto, made unique caps and embraced local swim groups in multiple phases across lido, beach and open water areas.
For the launch, we visited Jubilee Pool in Penzance to capture some of our Outsider’s real stories and establish our club. We created a launch video, conducted swimmer interviews around health and well-being, made stickers and UGC filters, curated a dedicated Instagram page and launched a hashtag #OutsidersClub.
