25 years of Extrem
ART DIRECTION & DESIGN
Created to celebrate the launch of the iconic top of the mountain collection ‘Extrem’. The 86 limited editions journals (a nod to the year the range was born 1986) aimed to explain to retailers and consumers the in-depth expertise and history. Giving the challenge to: ‘Test your Extrem’ playing on the extreme lengths explorers go to achieve greatness.
A new mini-identity was created, using colours from the jackets and chiselled typefaces. Images were sourced from recent expeditions, old archive imagery was regraded and new images were shot of the current collection. The whole journal was written by Huw Lewis Jones a polar adventurer and historian.
